At the start of each SCU Session during Orientation Week the "IT Essentials @ SCU" sessions are conducted.

It is compulsory for every student to attend one IT Essentials @ SCU session. All sessions are exactly the same. Bookings are essential.

Why should I attend ?

These sessions let you know all the critical information you need to do your course. No matter what course you are doing you need to know this information to get your emails, timetables, grades, assignments etc

You have numerous accounts and passwords and it can be confusing to know which one you use for which system. Even third year students still struggle with this. This session sorts these all out for you, so you have no problems when you start your course.

Bookings

Bookings are essential - please complete this form*.

If you need to change your booking then please reschedule. If you don't attend this prevents others on the waiting list from taking your place.

Booking via the Internet is best as it captures all the details required.

Do I need to bring anything?

No. We provide an information booklet that includes all the information presented. No need to take notes !!!

Where are the IT Essentials @ SCU being held?

These sessions are held in the A Block labs, see below:
